Hi There! I’m Gaia. I’m a Hoop Guide and Movement Artist. As well as a Visual Artist and Interior Designer with an eye for plants. Been hula hooping since I was introduced to the toy as a child but in 2016, it became more than a toy. But a little bit before then I attended university for interior design. I had already had a fascination for the placement of people within space and the functionality of their surrounding objects. But during that time I developed even more of an understanding of space through the concept of transformation. The art of change. So my understanding of spatial awareness became key to my life and the foundation for my self-awareness. Hula hoops became the perfect tools for just that which lead to a deeper understanding of myself and where I fit into this world. Integrating lessons learned from outside myself and using hoops to express, I’ve come to dance more in nature than ever before, encouraging me to incorporate the outside within. Connecting me to those nurturing tendencies, bringing plants into my designs and an organic rhythm into all of my art. Not only through hula hooping but other forms of flow and movement such as yoga, writing (yes it’s a form of movement!), and drawing have helped me discover parts of who I am and have been a catalyst for transformation and manifestation for my life! My belief is that all can gain this sense of fulfilment from finding flow through whatever form of art that is and make motivation from movement.

What can I say, I love hoops and all things hoop lovers! I owe all my progression to Deanne Love. She inspires me every day and I am grateful to be a part of this
