When I first picked up a hula hoop, I never could have imagined the personal growth these circles would allow me to achieve. For as long as I can remember, I have battled mental and physical health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder. However, through the help of my flow practice, I have been able to cultivate a healthier relationship with my body and mind, finding new and genuine ways to love and respect myself. It is my deepest wish as a teacher and performer that I can share the same feelings of acceptance, support, and inspiration that these simple plastic circles have given me.
