In 2005 Nettie and her sister Hannah formed the Nevaeh Dance Company, recognized today as Nevaeh Dance Circus. Since the conception of the NDC Nettie has served as its artistic director. Nettie is responsible for much of the company’s choreography, handmade costuming and props. Aside from being a performer, Nettie is also an instructor. Nettie has 26 years of dance education and has studied under instructors such as Juliette Lauzier of the Maine State Ballet, Debi irons of Art Moves, Joanna Patterson of Casco Bay Movers, Jennifer McMahon of the Green Mountain Ballet, and Vickie Perreault and Bruce Tracy of the Gorham Dance Studio of Maine.​In 2010 Nettie began studying the circus art of hula hooping. Since this time, she has attended classes and workshops from world renowned hula hoop instructors/performers such as Brecken Rivara, Dustin Huble, Miss MoJangles, Lee Jeffries, Deanne Love and one on one coaching from Lisa Lottie. Nettie is a Certified Hoop Love Coach and currently enrolled student in the online circus training program “CIRQU”.
